Toying with the details still, but I've added a Rogue (Inquisitive) to the mix. They're a female presenting Aasimar. More the reserved detective mode of rogue than Baggins or Gray Mouser. At least, on the surface.

Talis the Ardent Goetic who Disgorges Creatures.
I'm likely to eschew Right or Left hand politics and summon from the green, though Talis sees herself as something nested between the Green and the Red given the nature of the creatures with her.

Also, I'm thinking this would be a good time for the party to take a week or two of downtime while they await the arrival of Sedon's daughter. If if we have everyone's agreement, we'll do a ten day downtime. You can take a look at some downtime options in the PHB as well as any other tasks that mig...

So, for some meta clarity, here's what happened without giving too much away. You faced an adult white dragon and a horned devil. At the adult age, dragon's gain legendary actions (3 per round), as do many of the more distinct powerful creatures in the game. For example, a fully grown mother brain I...

This discussion has been robust. I'll add my basic philosophy on treasure. First, does it make sense in the context? The treasure needs to be part of the world, story, and inhabitants that own it. It needs to make sense. Second, is it level appropriate. Overall, treasure should be level appropriate....

+1.
I want to start a D&D channel.
The surprise rule as explained here does clean things up.
The bonus action spell is one we do right.
Concentration checks are good.
The INI tie breaker was a good catch!
Death Saves at start of the turn is funny. Didn't catch that.

Some quick thoughts: I do think player agreements can be easier to manage than character agreements. That said, some players like the chaos, erm, story of character agreements. It's the concurrent versatility of being in Wild Shape and casting spells that makes it so powerful. It would result in increa...

Healing as a Worg Being able to heal others while a worg is a huge bonus--and one I'd say definitely surpasses the once per day extra shift. I like the idea of pursuing this as an option, but it needs to be the center of its own quest. So it's a no for now, but something I'm open to Eclipse pursuing.

Spellcasting in Wild Shape: You should not be casting when using wild shape. I should have caught this and paid closer attention. I tend to agree that at least two people with some healing is useful, especially for a party over the standard size of 4. Covering 5 people is tough would a cleric of Light. So, bards are surprisingly good healers, especially at the first stage of levels, 1-5. In fact, unless you're playing a cleric of Life, bards are arguably better healers due to their short rest bonus healing for the party. I think I'm going to create a bard and a cleric, then see which feels right. ...

Taladas might be the least known main series setting. It was continent on the opposite side of Krynn from Ansalon.
Whatever you decide. Being from entirely different worlds and becoming trapped in Ravenloft has some nice potential, but it's all your call.

So, I know rule creep is always an issue groups fear, that said, I wanted to ask: Can we consider races from Volo or class options from Xanathar? Worth considering them as separate questions.
