Thanks for the attachment ability. I've a couple of minor issues: 1) I seem to get about a half a character cut off on the right hand margin. Resizing the browser window doesn't help and there doesn't seem to be a way to change the message box width. Any ideas? 2) I like the blue icon that indicates...

Although your paper is directed at someone with a much deeper (i.e. any) understanding of Irish mythology than myself, I still found it very interesting! Thanks for posting it!

Hmm.. those Norse have a persuasive argument! Clearly this view should be given equal time with that evolutionary theory.

So, are you proposing that we somehow "make this up" for the sake of Path Independence by (somehow) granting Character Level 1 Skill Points every time you reach Class Level 1 - so you can buy the "necessary" skills for your new class? Or just if you move to a Class with a larger number of Skill Poi...

I'm not sure about the "skill points at level 1" situation, though, since the reason you get 4 times as many then is because it represents your whole life before taking up adventuring. Yes, that's true - an argument can be made that someone who grew up thieving acquired all those skills, whereas so...

Multiclass

As far as no multiclass penalities and only one bonus per save type: sounds fair to me! Perhaps we could come up with a solution to the other mismatches between, say a fighter/thief and a thief/fighter (i.e. the latter, which took thief first, gets way more skill points). One proposal would be to al...

I'll bet she opens the vials late at night, when no one is watching and sniffs them for jollies. How'd you find out about the secret midnight poison rituals of the Hel's priestesses? :o But really, mere sniffs are just for novices, for a true priestess of Hel, it's tasting the finest poisons to bri...

Divine Seeker

Yes, looks good! When Yol addresses Cabrath she usually says "Sister Cabrath" and for Khumarr it's "Khumarr dear". On greed: Hazen greedly, but helpfully puts the cheese into his backpack because Tebryn was concerned about the smell in his portable hole. Hazen doesn't care about the smell of his bac...

They are both called "Duel" on the websites althought the swashbuckler one says "The Duel" in the film's title. The swashbuckler one is very good - with references to Errol Flynn and The Princess Bride. The Mage's duel is great - in a class by itself.

I think we should explore the rest of the non-Ethereal Temple - deactivating its circuitry along the way - before we go through the Ethereal Portal.

I agree, let's stay on this plane before we go ethereal or mess with the big black ball!

Mass Cure

So I had previously thought. But the voice telling us to "all stand together" for "a mass healing" sounded so masculine that I assumed it was Hazen who was giving the orders and therefore doing the spell somehow. None of my characters said that. Perhaps it was the Temple :) A mass cure does not req...
