Notes from 12/13/18 - The right time at the blight place

The burgermeister invited the party to be the guests of honor for the next festival since they had the right attitude, that all would be well. The next festival was the following week.

The party had dinner with the Burgermeister and his wife. The Burgermeister seemed to believe that being cheery keeps the monsters at bay. He felt his son wasn't cheery enough. The party agreed to talk to the son; he was kept in the attic.

On the way to the attic, the party found a doll in a hallway. It looked a lot like Ireena, who stayed back in the inn. It had a tag that read, "is no fun, is no Blinsky".

The party continued to the attic. The attic was extremely crowded with stuff. The party wound their way through the piles of stuff. The door on the far side of the room had a large skull carved in it, and a sign hung from the doorknob that read, "All is not well". The party knocked on the door. Chanting could be heard through the door. Lightning flew from skull and hit Brandt. The door flew open.

The room inside had skeletal cats skulking about. Three children stood on the far side of the room, backs to the door; their forms were completely immobile. Divine sense confirmed that the cats were skeletons, but the children were not. A closer look revealed them to be dolls. The party searched around for hiding places, but didn't find the son (Victor). The desk had elaborate drawings of Teleportation Circles. The party left the attic and house to return to the inn to sleep for the night.

The next day, the party headed out to the winery to investigate why no shipments arrived in town, per the inn keeper's request. The party headed west to the first crossroads and realized they didn't know how to get to the winery; they returned to town.

The party got directions to the winery, as well as information about the other names written on the sign post at the crossroads. The lake to the north could be the one from a prophesy.

The party returned to the crossroads. They found a leather bundle stuck in the brush. The bundle contained travel clothes. The party continued west to the next sign post, then south towards the Wizard of Wine. At the end of the day, the party arrived at the vineyards. The owner and family explained that evil druids and blights took over the winery. He said there was wine, but that they couldn't get to it.
