PartII Treasure Division

Postby Veracity » Thu Sep 20, 2018 3:34 pm

If owner of site could delete the Logistics thread? I will start over here in a less complicated manner...

Treasure Division Suggestion:

1.) DM enters day's loot list in game table to be posted on Vita.

2.) Veracity picks up lists from post and creates tables (as Brianna used to do) tracking who has what.

3.) We look at who already has what (consult the tables). The PC with the least cumulative value picks first from current loot and so on, down the line. (PC with most cumulative wealth already picks last.)

4.) If an item is obviously only suited to 1 particular PC (halfling +1 chain mail shirt and we only have 1 halfling in the party, for instance) then that item goes to that PC by default, if that PC wants it. But the items still counts towards that PC's cumulative values.

5.) If an item can be used by more than 1 PC and more than 1 PC are relatively lower (than the rest) in cumulative wealth, then the PCs "bid" on the item and high bid wins. (Or, we can have the PCs roll %dice.)

6.) GP (coin, gems) are divided evenly among the party members. Individuals can choose to manage their own gp or choose to have another PC manage it. (If some folks want fine wine and nice lodgings and others want weak ale and to sleep in a tent, they can spend or save as they like.)

Valuing Items

Postby Veracity » Thu Sep 20, 2018 3:41 pm

-We could rate items we find on a scale of 1 to 10.

-10 is an epic item or an item necessary to complete a quest.

-1 is a non-magical (mundane) item, such as: a starting weapon, musical instrument, or fine pair of boots.

-We rate items as best we can in the first couple days we have them.

-We vote on each item's rating before any of pick items from the loot.
(Before that, the items just belong to the party generally.)

-If we find out later that what we thought was a minor magic item is really an epic magic item, then we can redefine the value.
